The Got-Cha has become an institution in this area, especially for Route 50 bridge anglers and the fishermen on the lighted piers. The Got-Cha has been around for many years, and it is a proven lure that will catch just about anything. The two-ounce size Got-Cha, is perfect for fishing the strong currents around the 50 bridge or even jigging offshore over a wreck. Called the 1500 Series, it is made with a 4 inch long plastic body. It weighs 2 ounces. The treble hook models have a #1 tail hook and a #2 belly hook. Single hook models have a size 5/0 hook available plain or with a bucktail. The 1500 series is an excellent lure for Stripers, off-shore jigging, or in inlets and areas with strong currents.

The 1400 series is the most popular series in Ocean City, MD area. These Got-cha Plugs weigh 1 1/4 ounces and are 3 3/8 inches long. They are heavy enough to cast from the Route 50 Bridge in Ocean City or to cast from the Ocean City or Indian river Inlets. They have silver salt water treble hooks, and a plastic body. The original Got-cha plugs come in several styles and colors. The lure is excellent for Bluefish, Spanish mackerel, Trout, Stripers, and other fish that feed on small bait fish. When fishing from piers and bridges, reel in using short, sharp jerks of the rod to produce a deadly swimming action.
